eww!!! yuck yuck. arghh. so gross. i used a cotton bud just now, and i took one more for the other ear, in the end, i found out the whole bloody packet was full of ants la!! not small red ones but big red ones!! yuck man!! gross.. i took the packet, threw it into the sink abd boil hot water to kill them. arghh. i can't believe i actually put that packet on my body just now!!!!! i'm itching all over, but i know it's the mindset. but i can't help it!!!

hi, this will be a brief of my youth retreat, cause a detail one will take forever to type. hahaha.
Day 1 (monday). Constance stayed over at my house the night before, so the 3 of us woke up at 7 am to do our quiet time and set off to potong pasir. It was raining, so Innzheng took a ride from my dad. We reached there on time, and waited awhile for the rest to arrive. We went to the bread shop to buy breakfast, den went on to our venue.
St. Andrew's village was at St. Andrew Jr and Sec. We had to climb a "hill" to reach the place. The first thing we did was to get our keys, before finding our room. The place was sooo empty, cause we were the only ones staying there for a camp. It was rather errie too. ahahah. The room was HUGE, can sleep about 15 over ppl? There were only.. Tim, Eliza, Constance, Derrick, InnZheng, Reuben, JunMing, Aunt Sally and I. hhaha. The guy's side of the room had only 2 working fans, while the girls had 3. hahaha.
We had our Ice Breaker first. The first game was an 'introduction game'. Skittles was passed around, each person get to take as many as they want. I took like, 3 purples and 3 yellows. while most of them took all 5 colours. For each colour, we had to answer a different question. for eg, Yellow was -name one cheerful moment. while Green was one envious moment. hahha. Orange was naming smth abt urself everyone donno abt. hahaha. We didn't know Derrick was afraid of heights and Iz afraid of tree bark. Wad a fear. hahaha.
The other game was a memorising game. Each person had to remember 5 or more no.s, and we had to open them in running no. haha. It's quite fun, acutally.
We were ahead of the schedule, so we took some time to find out where the toilets were. hahha. Soon, it was lunchtime. hahaha. We had chicken rice. It was not bad. Then, it was our first session wif the speaker, Mr Edmund Chan. He taught us about our purpose driven life. And showed us examples of people in the Bible who had been faithful to God. It was about the difference between Worldly possessions and the Will of God.
Aft the session, we had half an hour to discuss about the sermon. Oh yea, one thing special about Pastor Edmund, his hair had a shriek of white infront, Something like Rogue in Xmen. By the time we finished, Sophia had finished school and joined us. After dinner, Angeline and Sin Ying came too.
Soon, It was time for Gallery walk. We didn't know anything about it, but my sister said it was nothing to look forward to. Well, it turned out to be planning for the year. Each window along the coridoor was pasted a mahjong paper, written a ministry. For example, Dance Ministry or Welfare Ministry. We had to write about WWW (What went wrong), WWR (What went right) and WWN (What we need). Some comments were rather encouraging.
Oh yea, before that, we did cell material evaluation as well. We haven't finish discussing, cause we were carried away by the matter of the 5 youths joining us next yr. Angeline den left, cause she had school tomorrow. The rest of us bathed in the boy's shower, cause the girl's shower was further away. Soon, those who were tired went to bed, while the few of us were mugging. ok, i was justing doing some math. haha.
Many of us couldn't sleep well that night, cause the floor was bloody cold and hard. ahahha.
Day2: We woke up late, and our morning quiet time together was shortened, and Tim was not pleased. Also, we rushed for our session no. 2, Life about Daniel. The last line spoke to me most. Daniel and his friends were sent to a foreign country to work for a King who wasn't a christian, yet they held on to their faith. When they were told to worship the idols, they refused, and were thrown into fire. Yet, they came out unharmed, cause God protected them against the fire. Just because they worked for the king, they still held on to their faith, cause they were transformed for transformation.
We had a trashing out session among us, many tissues were passed around. but, we grew closer nevertheless. We each shared about our burdens, how we fail as a Christian.
After lunch, which was Tanjong Pagar Nasi Lemak, yum! The other youths came over, and i was incharge of games. First, we played a rather lame game. From a Chick, u have to sissorspaperstone, must win lah, with another Chick to become a Chicken. From a Chicken, sissorspaperstone wif a Chicken to become KFC. loser will become a chick again. From KFC, sissorspaperstone wif a KFC to become Ultraman. loser will become a Chicken. From Ultraman, sissorspaperstone wif a Ultraman to become Superman. loser will become KFC again. From Superman, sissorspaperstone wif a Superman to go to 'heaven'. hahaha. I became superman, and fell right back to be a chick. So sad lah! hahaha. Next game was murderer, followed by Charades.
yep. soon it was time for dinner... CURRY CHICKEN!!. muahahaha. it was cooked wif milk instead of coconut milk, cooked by auntie sharon. Still very nice lah. haha. After which was our last session, self centredness VS servanthood.
The rest of the youth plus part of the committee left. Which only left us wif Tim, Iz, Reuben, Sophia, Eliza, Cons and I. Instead of studying the last night, we havoc-ed playing murderer until 2 am. we played the wink one at first, but we decided to play the squzeeing hand one. very fun, but we had a lecture after that. We got Tim, Sophia and Eliza into trouble. Sigh, it was a lesson learn.
The next day, our session wif Pastor Choi was cancelled, so we had a prayer time. In which we listed everyone's prayer requests. And evaluated the retreat. After the Retreat, we went to Jaskson kopitiam to have kway chap. Dad came to pick us up, sophia came along wif us to our hse. Iz wanted to leave our hse for his hse, but the 4 of us slept infront of the tv for abt 3 hrs plus. ahah. Iz left at ard 5, while the rest woke up at 6.30, just in time for prayer meeting.
The next day, Iz, Jm, Sophia and I went to watch Just my Luck. Good show, but highly impossible. We went to walk walk around ps, and went to peinsular plaza after that. Jm got his guitar strings. Sophia and I went into Bata. Sophia totally fell in love wif a pair of heels which cost 119. hahha. but it was really nice lah. i saw a purple one, and i tried twice which was wrong size, got fed up and left. Iz saw a pair of adidas shoes he liked, but 3 of us disagreed. hahah. so he didn't buy it. Aft that, Iz, Sophia and i walked to Clark Quay. 2 of them took train while i took bus home. sigh. Looking at Clark Quay reminds me of my old workplace, and most importantly, my collegues. Miss them. All the fun.. People like Samuel, Benjamin, Wb, Nick, Lucas, Jaslin. It was only 1 mth of collegues we have been, but we bonded alot, although we hated the job. hahah.

ok. i know it's only 4.13pm to say that this is a shit day, but it really is. shit man. wth. this morning, i ate nasi lemak for breakfast. very dry, so i went to take a cup of water. i filled it to its brim (duh).. i wasn't fully awake, (but no excuse) the cup was in between my sister and i, and so was her fone! ok, bloody hell. i toppled the water over, and it flooded the carpet and her fone lah! and yes, it's spoilt now.
i kept asking her to blow dry it with the hairdryer. (cause it helps!) but she just ignored me and went in her room. she locked herself inside, and she was doing her quiet time i guess. she stayed inside for quite awhile, before bathing and leaving her house. she didn't tell her where she was going, and i didn't dare to ask. she just said she will be going for prayer meeting herself later, cause she has follow up lesson, but it's not so early lah. so she's probably at the repair shop now or smth. i donno!! argh. i feel bloody guilty. and today is a shit day.
the 'best' part, she was going to sell her fone to buy new one 4 days later. it might not be a very good fone, but at least can fetch 100 plus??

sigh. the bbq was just yesterday, so everyone in church was super sleepy and stuff. yea. here's wad happened.
sophia, tim, iz, my sis and i were supposed to meet at 11am that day, for branch. but.. tim went down to office to pick up something, so he took quite a while. yep. we had delifrance that day. woah. i miss the sandwich =/. ok, so the food was great. hahah. next, we went to carrefour to buy sausages and marshmellows. in the end, they were out of stock for the brand we wanted. walked ard awhile before taking 133 down to sophia's place. sit sit awhile den had to leave already. went we reached, only wilson and his friend alvin was there. -.- sinying was late, and we left without the rest.
we reached the pit, at serangoon ave 4, only to see that there wasn't enough people for our games! so.. anyway, we started wif our icebreaker, the name game. everyone had to remember the name and an action the person was doing. it was quiet funny, wif the weird actions some of them did. haha. later, sophia, my sis and i went to sort out the game clues. instead of the 6 grps we planned, we decided wif 3 in the end. haha. the clues were rather dumb, and everyone was stuck at one of them. hahaha. it's werid when everyone went ard asking,"are you pointy pointy?" HAHA. they were also stucked at my station, cause my challenge was sudoku. haha. yep. there were super lame cheers as well.
when we reached the bbq pit, the fire was set and was ready for cooking. aunt sally's fried mee fen and wilson's fried rice were both nice, and i ate both. also, i ate lots of meat stuff. eg, satay, chicken chop. cat and ivor went as well. ivor was so smart to eat dinner before that. haha. well. nothing much. we talked alot and iz told us the story abt omen. so lame la. hahah. it started drizzling. sin ying and i went to the toilet, at aunt sally's place. the rest started coming in the house. den ivor and cat smsed me, telling me that they left first. the guys in the house were all watching soccer.
vanessa, sophia and i went to watch date movie. the whole movie was so lame la. haha. it was just a spoof of other movies. haha. the longer we watched, the more people came in. at the end of the show, vanessa's bed was all covered wif youths watching the silly show. ahhah. at the end of the movie, we watched 20 mins of soccer and left for home. iz's father came to fetch him, and lumpang-ed my sister and i.

straight aft chem, went to the art room to get my papercutting. ying and i den cabbed to bugis. the trip felt quite long, but it was pretty fast. hahaha. when we reached the taxi stand, ying took out money to pay, den the uncle was 'receiving' the money when the cab in front moved lah, so the driver moved forward.. den.. bang. yep. haha. we were all shocked lah. haha. the drivers came out, they looked so neutral. like bang and nv bang same like that. lols. den when the driver came back, ying asked him how. den he said he'll pay him 10 dollars. dots lah. might as well don pay. haha. aft getting out den we realised that the cab was hardly hurt, but the driver in front was taking down the licence plate of the other taxi. so lame. ahaha.
we went to the push carts, and found the rock candies. she bought her 'i love you' ones. so ex lo. 500g $4.50. the 100g ones are like. $10+?? but the more u buy the cheaper lah. hahaha. we quickly left bugis and walked to suntec. ying wanted to go espanade (wtvr the spelling) and check out their restaurants. hhah. from city link to espanade, the 'corridor' was creepy. haha. they play does music, like those u see in plays. super drama dances kind. hahaha. lots of art pieces were there too. some quite nice, some we catch no ball. lol.
so aft finding wad she wanted to find, we went to marina to shop! hahaha. so fun. we went to have lunch at BK. i accidently upsize until large la. haha. in the end the drinks cannot finish. then, ying and i walked almost all the shops, and she bought a set of clothes. from different places lah. haha. we saw some tanks. 2 for 10 lo. so cheap. donno if i should buy, cause i scared may spoil easily or that i wun wear. hahaha. we found this weird shop at the corner. it feel so tribal lah. hahaha. we walked ard, and found this werid iron on thing. it says "have save sex, fuck yourself". like wth lo. ahha. but it's quite funny. hmm. we went to sasa and bought nail polish. haha. next, we went to the face shop. the security guard was nearby lah. and he looked weird lah. it like, his seat was far from the table, so he sat, and reached to the table to lean his hands on it. haha.

blah. school's boring, life's boring. it's like. doing art everyday is crazy! looking at the bloody thing for such a long time?!
i need money!! dammit. i wanna go out, but i don have the cash. sigh.. the 10th sucks this mth, cause it's on a weekend. lols. btw, i get my monthly money on the 10th, so i usually like it in the middle of the week, it seems faster to come. hahaha. nonsense. sigh. i owe my friend like 50 bucks cause of presents i bought for ppl, so aft getting my pocketmoney, 50 will fly away~ the thought of that kills me.
i suddenly think that someone looks attractive when the person is all serious and stuff. hahah. don worry, i'm not obsessed.
oh yea, we watched a vedio on teenage pregnancy today during prayer meeting. it's quite expected, donno why. hahah. but the interesting part abt the vedio is the part when the doctor shows the girl and guy the real process of abortion. damn gross can, it's worse than a horror movie. u can see like. damn small hands and legs, distorted lah. aarggh. another funny part was that vanessa was a part in the movie, small part though. haha. when she appeared, everybody immediately laughed out loud lah. i tink we looked abit retarded. not funny the parts we were all laughing. lols. cause stuff just reminds us of other funny ones. we had 3 new friends today. 1, karkeat's friend, a teacher. pretty teacher. hahaha. her name's esther. 2, a neighbourhood girl called xueli in manjusri sec. and lastly, derrick's friend, ronald, ngee ann poly. chemical engineering.
ivor is weird today. he asked me to tell him abt stuff like.. fallen angels, satan and holy spirit. haha. weird combi. anyway. i told him like. abit b4 he went to play dota. lols.

this was the brownie! so big right. hahaha.
26th may.. hmm. jevonne and i were supposed to go out and take pics, have dinner. but her mama cooked cRayfish, so she had to eat abit lah. but she said she feel like eating fish again. -.- due to the time, we went to parkway and eat. haha. b4 jevonne arrived, i went to print some photos. i saw ryan there too. he bought new fone can. the same one that.. peter, qibin, gabriel ting has. lols. forgot the number. as in, the model lah. so okay, i told him we (cat and i) saw him on 25, aft the rest left. he said he went to buy my present! hahah. which was swiss chocolate. he said yvonne probably finished them, but she didn't! and brought it to me on tues. hee. lols. aft that he say he'll buy me stuff from chocz, if yvonne ate the chocolate. haha. i didn't tell him that i ate it already (haven told him. lols). den aft meeting jevonne. we went to eat fish and co! hahha. i tried the grilled salmon. nice! hahahah. and we had salmon salad which we shared too. heee.
aft eating fish and co, we were craving for tao huay! and there was a rochor beancurd, which i saw on the way to parkway. i didn't know it was so far lah!! in the end jevonne and i were walking and talking for like. half an hr or so? on the way to the rochor beancurd, jevonne saw a cat in a drain. i turned over, and i thought it was a turtle. -.- lols. den i realised it was a black cat, which had water until its ears! gosh. it was going to drown. we quickly looked ard for a long stick or smth, but there was like, only lights and little twigs ard. so in the end, the poor thing stopped moving. i think it had been struggling in water for quite a long time le. so sad right. sigh.. we reached rochor beancurd, only to find the tao huay like shit. hahaha. so xiap. like.. erm.. aft u eat, the stupid texture is still on ur tongue. yep. sucks. my bus soon came. and guess how many stops it took me to reach home? 1 or 2. -.- although it was pretty long, it's only 2 bus stops! that's how much we walked. hahaha. jevonne also msged me that she got on the same bus as 2 ppl we saw at parkway. hhah.
27 may. i skipped church that day, cause it was vocal training, and singing is so not me. hahaha. so, ivor cat and i went out! hahaha. we met at cine at first, cause we actually planned to watch movie there. ok, so we missed it. den we walked to ps, but we wanted to try the new cinemas at cathy. near ps. haha. so we walked there, buy tickets, go ps again, eat mac. and went back to cathy! legs so tired lo. haha. we watched she's the man. the show is very funny, funny throughout. hahah. it's abt this girl, who's sch football team cannot join competition, den she has a twin brother, who went secretly to other country to play music. so she went to his sch, acted like him and got into the football team. haha. the ending, i shall not spoil it. lols. aft that, we walked to marina, lols. just to look for iz's bottle can. hahaha. in the end don have he want the brand + colour, only either one, and i wanted to try bugis, but ivor wanna go home. so he took a cab and send us to bugis at the same time. in the end, don have. grr. i was tired, so we went to drink milkshake and went home. seee...
the pink one was mine, cause i ordered strawberrie. so bloddy full can. hahaha. cause very thick. hahah.
28 may sunday. aft committee meeting, i begged and begged sophia to go buy iz's present wif me, but she say she must go buy her ingredients for her f&n thingy. my sis was having another meeting aft that, so she cudn't go. ok, so i asked jun ming to go wif me. he didn't wanna go, cause he was damn tired. in the end i dragged him to go marina wif me. and we cudn't find the silly shop can. hahah. in the end we found it, it closed le!! gosh. i begged again, to the lady to ask her to let me in, very fast one. hahah. yep, and i got it. thoughout the whole journey, jun ming kept suanning me, and keep gen wo ding zui. so irritated. haha. but since i owe him one, i kept quiet. so nan de lo. hahaha. yep. den i keh kiang wanna take bus, cause take train still must change to bus. so i walked to the espanade. got bus stop, but i scared wrong direction, so i called my sis to ask. in the end i got lost somewhere lah. ya. i'm direction stupid, and i didnt have enough money to cab home. zzz. in the end tim and my sis came to fetch me home. 3 times going to marina, 2 times got lost. lols. i suck at marina. hahaha.
29th may. monday. chinese o lvls! hahah. the passages were easy to read, but the questions were difficult, hard to lift too. hahah. nvm lah. over over le. aft that, i went straight home to bathe and change. den aft that my sis and i went to meet the rest downstairs. in the end, there were.. mingjia, tiff, joyce, iz, my sis and i. hahaha. means only left sophia. haha. we cabbed there, cause we were going to be late to collect the tickets. hahah. sophia joined us later, and we went in to find our seats. the ppl that were at the corner, they came in aft us, so they climbed from the back row to their seats. haha. so nice right. haha. ying told me to watch until aft the credits, got a short video, at least 10 sec. it turned out to be 22 secs. hahaha. anyway. all 6 of them doubted me lo. so sad. hahah. but we still waited. and the 3 guys trapped at the corner were lucky they sat beside us. hahahah. yep. aft that, we went to carl's jr to eat. didn't eat a meal. but we shared. yup. later sophia and i went to buy iz a slice of his b'dae cake. hahaha. coffee flavour. very nice. hahaha. yup. oh yea. b4 that. we went to the arcade. jie and i played time crisis 2, my fav game! hahaha. yup. we went to play that u know. picking up of toys ting. iz got a mickey cute tissue box holder in the first try! but the second failed. hahah. too bad. mingjia really wanted this funny thing from over the hedge, we spent almost 10 dollars and didn't get it lah. in the end, iz my sis and i went home by bus 197/7. yep. great day.
from 30th may to 2 june, had extra lessons. and art till like. 4pm? worse den sch days, just that can wear pe attire to sch. lol. and coloured socks and shoes. haha. on one of the days, went out wif jevonne awhile. to town. she wanna see smth. i was in pe attire, she was in jeans? so different. haha. yep. that's all.
oh yea. today was derrick's first time leading cell. not bad for first time! jia you! hahaha. bye! i'm tired of blogging.
